About Us
The Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario (RGPEO) is a trusted network of specialized healthcare services for older adults, supporting them from hospital to home.
We were established in 1985 as Ontario’s first health network dedicated to seniors’ care.
At RGPEO, we’re proud to lead the way in:
- Comprehensive, interdisciplinary geriatric assessment and treatment services in partnership with older adults, their families and the community
- Education in geriatrics/gerontology to practitioners, students and community members
- Research, innovation, and evaluation to improve care for older adults
- Advocacy and planning to help shape better health and community services for seniors
Together with our partners, we’re working to make Eastern Ontario a place where older adults can age well, with dignity and the right support at every step.
Our Vision
Better health outcomes for older adults in accordance with what matters most to them.
